The purpose of this project is to design a wireless network with WiMax technology, to present a solution to the lack of internet signal in rural or remote communities, for the present case, we want to reach the interconnection of a wireless internet network, so that the village of Chacua in the municipality of Soacha - Cundinamarca is taken to the village, by carrying out the characterization of the community that is mentioned, it is sought to be able to identify issues of how the population has the service in the homes, with which devices it has , additionally that internet service companies are in the area providing internet service, what degree of acceptance is shown by the inhabitants, even if they would like a new service to exist and be free. As a second action, it is required to model the network for the solution that is needed, continuing with the evaluation of the proposed network through expert professionals in wireless networks, so that an important contribution to the reliability of the design is made. The methodology that will be used will be qualitative and investigative research, which characterizes connectivity and access to communication technologies, through data collection techniques in interviews, surveys, which will be filtered by statistical tools and the presentation of the results analyzed and attached in the annexes of this document, based on the preparation of final reports of the study. A design will be made on a simulation software that is capable of solving the real situation, on the point-to-point interconnection model, for the rural environment and the evaluation will be derived, feasibility of this on the interconnection, with WiMax technology that It will be used to solve the need, with a simulated proposal with software which can be applied to solve this document, but since it does not have the complete financial muscle, it will not be implemented in La Chacua. With the above, it was possible to find through the model that the proposed point-to-point link can radiate the signal over the unlicensed band, in the form of line of sight, to carry the internet signal from one point to another or vice versa. providing a reliable link that was established with telematic elements, such as directional antennas, radio frequency modules, terrestrial telecommunications towers. In addition, it can be concluded that there are currently a majority of solutions in wireless networks, but it can be shown that the IEEE 802.16 standard can be taken as a last-mile solution through network models, with point-to-point, point-to-point topologies. multipoint, towards remote, rural communities, so that they collaborate by bringing internet access and information technologies, so that the technological advance of the communities is achieved.

Currently it is not possible to identify if there is interference or lack of coverage for signals from SFN networks. As a result of this, a research proposal is detailed using the descriptive qualitative method approach to optimize the transmission performance of these networks in Medellin, this objective will be achieved by performing an analysis using the Xirio Online simulation software in its full version. Although it is true that increasing the power of the output signal does not always improve the performance of mobile networks, carrying out a correct study of the behavior of the signals in geographical locations that are difficult to reach can predict future problems of degradation and saturation of the service, these interferences will be reduced making use of the radioelectric space that is available to study efficiently and optimally. In Colombia, mobile or digital television services are designed in SFN networks that share the communication channels between them, this generates distortion of the signals and, therefore, affect the quality levels of the service.

(Universidad Cooperativa de Colombia, Facultad de Ingenierías, Maestría en Telemática, Bogotá, 2021) Perdomo Bermeo, Julián Mauricio; Amaya Fernández, Cristian Alejandro; Bernal Macías, Brayan Esneider; Simanca Herrera, Fredys Alberto
In this document, the design of a remote access laboratory is presented, which will allow students and teachers to interact and carry out, through the internet, practices of modeling processes and CAD prints by means of a 3D printer. It is proposed to implement a hardware and software system that will allow to monitor and control variables remotely, from a computer equipment, located in the automation laboratory of the Universidad Cooperativa de Colombia Headquarters Bogotá. The main problem that motivated the development of this research is the pandemic, which has an impact that generated total confinements, forcing the Cooperative University of Colombia to temporarily close its headquarters and reinvent its teaching models, despite the fact that there are different platforms that manage to successfully replace the face-to-face teaching model through virtuality, the institution still has a major drawback with the development of its practical classes due to the lack of availability of remote resources that allow students and teachers to manipulate the different laboratory equipment that is currently had. The objective of this research is to design the prototype of the remote laboratory, with a reliable and secure technological infrastructure, which allows access and development of a remote practice. A data analysis was carried out that allowed to accurately identify the type of practices, the number of students and the equipment that is used most frequently in the automation laboratory of the Universidad Cooperativa de Colombia Sede Bogotá, this was carried out in order to Identify the different variables that allow determining the laboratory equipment that conforms to the design that will be implemented as a remote laboratory.

Collaborative robots are designed to manipulate tools/effectors and accessories, or to process or transfer components or products, their use is intended for non-hazardous applications, where the entire application, including the tool / end effector, the workpiece , obstacles and other machines, does not present significant hazards according to the risk assessment of the specific application. Currently there are protection regulations that manufacturers must include in their devices, however, at the information security level there is no standard or recommendation that they can follow. In this research we will work with the UR3 robot that is used in the development of the macroproject of the Cooperative University of Colombia in cooperation with the Paris Ouest Nanterre La Défense university entitled “Design of a flexible end-effector for multi-object manipulation with incorporated intelligence. Phase I ”. At the information security level, it was found that there are multiple vulnerabilities associated with the UR3, 5 and 10 robots from the manufacturer Universal Robots. With the development of this research, it is intended to minimize the impact that a vulnerability can be exploited by an attacker, and for this purpose, the development of a support system for the communication and information security of the UR3 Robot is proposed. Packet Tracer and GNS3 Software will be used for the development and validation of the support system.
