Resumen
Student desertion is a phenomenon that affects the entire school population in all corners of the national territory, so the state to evidence this problem, for example, for the year 2012, the national dropout rate reaches 46% (MEN 2012), therefore, a program addressed to this problem is included in the National Education Plan, and it gives guidelines to the directives of the educational institutions, so that they develop programs whose main objective is to reduce to the maximum the levels of desertion of the students in each of the academic institutions, to meet this objective, each academic establishment must create and implement a program that allows to address in an integral manner the different factors that affect the students' desertion. Taking into account the above, the Cooperative University of Colombia that to date has a desertion level according to SPADIES of 45%, creates the Enlace program, through which implements projects that allow the institution to intervene the problem, and lower thus, dropout rates and promote permanence with quality. One of the necessary requirements for the proper execution of the Enlace Program is to have the support of the different faculties of the institution, as is the case of the Psychology faculty in which the practice in Educational Psychology is developed, both in the day diurnal as nightly at the 31st headquarters in Bogotá. Basically, it is about providing academic and attitudinal support, using tools and knowledge acquired throughout their academic and personal training at the institution. This is part of an institutional policy aimed at students at risk of dropping out.
