Hemoparasites are the cause of major problems and diseases in various species of animals, in this case in pets such as dogs, which by reference and proximity are the ones we have most in contact. The hemoparasites that we take as reference and which we can find with peculiarity in these animals are: Anaplasma, Ehrlichia, Babesia, Hepatozon and Dirofilaria, this reference is given by the tropical zone and location where we are, since this factor is what predisposes and favors the habitat and reproduction of its main transmitting agents or vectors such as ticks and mosquitoes. Hemoparasitosis is a disease caused by any of these infectious agents that attack and invade the body of an animal, causing a number of symptoms and signs that affect the animal's health to such an extent that it can lead to death. These diseases are of great importance both for the impact generated in animal health and in several of them that may become of presentation and affectation also in humans, to such an extent being taken as a threat to control and public health. With regard to technological advances and in this case the means of diagnosis and new treatments that can control or eliminate this type of disease, these have evolved to such an extent that there are already rapid tests to identify certain infectious agents that cause these diseases, giving support and confidence to professionals for the correct and practical and treatment of the present pathologies.
