This research project aims to make use of ICT allowing the optimization of the reading process in children of five and six years old of the IED Transition degree Gabriel García Márquez, responding to the problems that have been observed for some time, being the demotivation and the little interest that is evident in the development and the little participation in the activities that are carried out with respect to the Communicative Dimension. It is hoped that through the use of ICTs used as an innovative didactic tool, develop in children other communication skills such as: reading comprehension, reading pleasure, development of oral expression, better use of language, vocabulary enrichment. For this purpose, the research review was carried out on the subject of this section and emphasize the most relevant aspects that contribute to the construction of the strategy that is to be implemented. In the same way, a theoretical inspection was carried out based on four main categories for the research process. This item is deployed taking into account the Critical Partner paradigm, with a Socio-Educational approach and a type of Action Research; Among the information collection techniques used are: participant observation, completion of diagnostic sheet, interview with parents, teacher survey, these documents were also used as a traceability exercise where information was obtained to observe the relevance of the proposal with which a didactic strategy was proposed based on ICT to enhance reading processes in transition-grade children.
