This interventional project called ‘Self-control and relationships in boys and girls between the ages of 6 and 11 years in a Children’s home’ it has been made in Fundación Infantil Madre de Dios with the participation of 17 boys and girls that remain full time from Monday to Friday in this place. The theorical fundamentation it was taken by the contributions of Skinner (1953), Kanfer (1970, 1987), Kazdin (quoted by Labrador, F. Cruzado, J. and Muñoz, M, 2006) y Rehm (1998). This intervention was oriented to the self-control strengthening for the improvement of the interpersonal relationships through the execution of psychoeducational strategies based on the comprehension of the emotions, assertive communication and the problem resolution, to addition, we design a observation grid wich, allowed track in groups during development activities, as well as quantitative complement we took the battery of BAS-1 socialization especially aspects Anxiety-Shyness, Aggressiviness-Obstinacy, and Respect-Self-control which are closely related to self-control and interpersonal relationships, This was an application pre and post-test to the educational agents with the purpose of getting a behavior valuation in kids before and after the intervention. Also the designing of a check list or an observation sheet which allow us to do a group follow up during de activities. The results that we got through the implemented instruments allow us to see that there was some significant changes, the kids learned a series of skills that allow them to comprehend and control of the emotions in different situations of their daily life’s, which lead them to the improvement of the interpersonal relationships.
