The purpose of this project is to analyze the influence of affectivity on the integral development of the human being, taking into account all its dimensions (intellectual, physical, social and spiritual) and how it affects the academic performance of the students of the Pedagogical Institute. National. Today, in view of the new needs that arise day by day not only in the educational field, but also in clinical, organizational, community, etc; Psychology has had to use and opt for a more holistic approach, which allows a greater understanding of these needs, therefore, it has been working as a team with other disciplines such as occupational therapy, speech therapy, among others, as is the case with National Pedagogical Institute. Despite the great advances of Psychology in the educational field, the same shortcomings continue to arise, which we believe, not only present in this institution but in all in general. The learning problems such as scattered attention, dyslexia, dysgraphia, hyperactivity, among others, are accompanied by others that sometimes even the same professional in the psychological area is forgotten, family problems, friendships, teachers, the same vision on education , influence the progress or delay of these fundamental processes in the life of every human being. It is for this reason that it is fundamental to emphasize the importance of a healthy affectivity not only in the life of the student but of all people, for the development of a self-esteem, self-concept and knowledge of oneself that allows an integral personal growth; that generates more entertaining interpersonal relationships, that is why the application of different strategies that encourage and increase this variable in the institution becomes relevant.
