Introduction: It strives to recognize the quality of health as a continuous improvement process, which promises good results, which includes good service by health personnel, identifying the needs and expectations of them, this being a way to evaluate the quality in the provision of this service Objective: To assess the perception of quality of nursing care in hospitalized patients in Bucaramanga Methodology: Descriptive pilot study, with a quantitative, cross-sectional approach. Type of non-probabilistic sampling of casual or incidental type, allowing us to evaluate the perception of people about the quality of nursing care in hospitalized people through the application of the CUCACE questionnaire, version in Spanish by Alonso and collaborators (2005), based on two dimensions , experience and satisfaction with nursing care. Results: The assessment in the attention received by the nurses was recodified the answers according to the author's instructions in three levels: negative, neutral and positive, of which 63.6% were positive, about the improvement of the attention, we found that 73% of the participants indicate that attention should be improved, The experience dimension was found that the weighted average value of the experience was 66.6 on a scale of 100. In the satisfaction dimension the weighted value of the average of the satisfaction was 59.2 on a scale of 100 Conclusion: The results of this study show us that the person mostly has an experience and positive satisfaction with the care received, at the same time that they think that attention can be improved in various ways.
