Resumen
This research is focused on the use, applications, benefits and advantages of a mixture of porous concrete for light traffic pavements taking into account the resistance required by the standard. To analyze and compare this type of porous concrete mixture, it is necessary to perform a series of tests for two types of mixtures (one with and the other without the presence of fine aggregate), thus measuring the resistance to compression and bending, permeability that this type can achieve. of mixture, modulus of elasticity, modulus of rupture, percentage of voids, in order to identify or verify the characteristics contained in a porous concrete that are used in road construction works. In order to carry out this research, 3 fundamental phases were established that help with the planning and execution of the project, the first phase begins with the studies or previous trials that are supported by research articles from reliable sources and standards (NTC) where they take small samples of the materials (gravel, sand, cement) that are used to evaluate and calculate this porous mixture design. In the second phase, the methodological where, taking into account the previous tests, samples (cylinders and beams) of porous concrete are started from a certain percentage of voids that starts from 0% to 35%, then in the third phase obtain comparative results (so some samples are with fine aggregates and others without fine aggregates) that allow to analyze the behavior as the permeability, resistance and compression that the different samples have.
