Resumen
The objective of the research is to evaluate the understanding and experiences of the students of the psychology faculty of the Cooperativa de Colombia University - Bogota section, of their mental health from a positive perspective, taking into consideration four dimensions, the intrapersonal, the relational, the projective and quality of life and the context. For this purpose, a self-registration instrument consisting of 117 items was applied to 40 students of the program, with a five-dimensional Likert response, which was prepared by Posada, Peralta, Perdomo and Romero (2007), and subsequently adjusted and revised. by the group participating in this study. In the results obtained in the study, it was observed that the students of psychology participating in this study, have a tendency to assess their mental health in a positive way, in this case the dimension that was best perceived was the projective, that is, they consider that they have They have lived with a project in mind, they have the will and capacity to achieve their achievements and goals, as well as to face and overcome the difficulties that come their way. On the other hand, it was found that the dimension they perceive as less satisfactory is the quality of life dimension, since they do not feel satisfied with the world in which they live and perceive low opportunities for their development in services such as health, education, personal security and necessary economic means, to live in a calm and dignified way.
