Ofipartes S.A. is the leading company in the office furniture and seating market, located in the municipality of Cota. It was founded on September 26, 1994, with its managing partners Mrs. Esmeralda Arboleda and engineer Jaime Parada. Ofipartes S.A., belongs to the Industrial sector, its main economic activity is the import and commercialization of parts for office chairs, and as a secondary economic activity the manufacture of metal structures and injection of plastic parts for office and community furniture. Currently, this process is in charge of Mrs. Diana P. Rodríguez, who works as Financial Manager and responsible for the accounting part, has an Accounting Assistant and two Accounting Assistants. This department is one of the most important for the company, since it provides financial analysis of all accounting information, allowing to determine the financial situation of the company, which leads to facilitate management decision making. Within the financial process of the company there is a lack of organization in the distribution of functions, since there are no specific activities for each employee, without taking into account the skills and abilities they have, which leads to underutilization of the resource human. Taking into account the problem detected in the financial process, the following question has been established: What is the process that Ofipartes must do? S.A. to be able to carry out the restructuring of the Financial department, adapting it to fulfill the necessary requirements for the Management and Quality certification based on ISO 9001: 2008? In order to answer the above-mentioned research question, it has been established as a general objective, to propose a strategy to carry out the restructuring of the Financial process in the Company OFIPARTES S.A., adapting it to the requirements demanded by the Management and Quality System. The following specific objectives have also been established for the investigation: • Collect the necessary information, through a survey to the head of the Financial process, material supplied by the company, implementation books to the SGC, in order to be able to develop the work. • Establish the functions that must be performed within the company's financial process. • Propose a strategy that allows evaluating, through monitoring indicators, the effectiveness to be achieved with the restructuring of the financial process in the company OFIPARTES S.A. As justification for the development of the proposed restructuring of the financial process of the company OFIPARTES SA, the company is expected to determine strategies for optimizing administrative functions such as controlling, planning, executing and coordinating, in the most efficient way, the monetary and non-monetary flows, through the definition and implementation of standardized and documented processes and procedures, leaving responsible and above all establishing management indicators, which allow to review the results obtained, leading to each day being efficient and able in a future achieve process certification in the financial area. With this work seeks to validate and apply the comprehensive knowledge acquired by students of Business Administration and Seminar Quality Management Systems, allowing to establish solutions to problems that arise within any organization, with clear, accurate and achievable criteria , where the Cooperative University through this work calls to exemplify the importance of the restructuring of any process, because through the knowledge acquired during the race and those acquired in the seminar, it is intended that they be applied in real cases of productive companies , achieving recognition in the labor and productive market of the country
