Nowadays the human talent has become the structural pillar of the enterprise that wishes to be competitive in today’s society. Based on this resource, the term competence arises as a strong contemporary wave that hits the structure of the organizations or enterprises that give them the possibility to benefit at maximum the capabilities of the human talent. This research was aimed at creating a management model for job skills for an non profit organization. The skills of the collaborators in the foundations are identified as cardinals and specifics, based on the position and the function of the employees inside each area or department, moreover, the different levels of each competency are stipulated. Within the methodological process the research was based on the development and analysis of management competence alles M. (2006), stipulating that for designing skill management in an organization you must perform an analysis that covers the processes of an organizational strategy. Considering the methodology applied in the investigation, the results obtained were given manifesto, in the reconstruction of the strategy of the foundation’s organization from the mission, vision, values and objectives; we also obtained the cardinal competence and the specifics of the colaborators of Fusempaz. Then the confection of the competence dictionaries and behaviors is given and is obtained from the degrees or levels of each competence of the different positions of the organization, which allowed to determine the gaps between the competencies defined by the model and those who possess the members of the foundation. Based on the defined competencies and the levels of each competency, an informatic application or software was designed to evaluate competencies which are executed under Windows OS. Specifically from an application in Microsoft Excel, it was denominated “Evaluation 360º”, which allowed the process' management of the competencies' assessments through the levels of each competency with the objective to accelerate the verification's process of the improvement in the competencies that require it from the members of the foundation, in other words, that if each required level of every competency is achieved or not. Keeping in mind that according to Campderrich B. (2003), “software” is defined as a product of utilitarian and massive consumption for a company or an autonomous worker and as an auxiliary mean that intervenes in a more or less interactive way, but is sometimes essential in its management and increasingly in its productive process. In the investigation we concluded that the analysis of the organizational strategy as an initial pillar for the application of the model of management for competency allowed the establishment or reconstruction process for the optimization of functions of each one of the positions of the members of Fusempaz aiming towards the fulfillment of the goals and objectives established by the directives of the organization.
