In accordance with the provisions of agreement 219 of 2014 for the modality of research Project assistant, the following report presents the support in the methodological component for the research in reference called: the role of digital and interactive communication in the narrative expansion of the transmedia documentary “Mujeres en Venta”. Previously they were determined through a content analysis, the narratives that adds the digital and interactive technology of the transmedia documentary to the traditional documentary. In this opportunity, through a work plan with a methodological structure, the implementation of technological tools and digital formats was characterized, which made possible the intervention of the audience within the creation and the narration. The instrument of inquiry is designed for the information gathering, and is applied to the construction of an audiovisual piece, recognized as a product of knowledge appropriation and, henceforth called: “transmedia narrative in social stories: experiences of the documentary director”. The audiovisual piece documents the role of management in the production of the transmedia documentary, through a director’s view of its dynamics, communicative intentions and in a social context, in which it works with and for the community.
