This project proposes a didactic strategy that helps to improve reading comprehension, implementing tools that attract students' attention, such as digital technologies and media, so that the eleven grade students of Aurelio Martinez Mutis school can improve their levels of understanding and capacity of argumentation and their academic performance in the school, as well as when they face their university and professional life. Experiences in teaching practices and research have identified the shortcomings of students in this field, and the motivation they have to learn through technology, for this reason, they must be involved the learning with their likes and interests. The proposal is a virtual platform with the name “The world of gems”, where each student will do a job with the teacher support passing different levels of reading, to overcome them and to improve their interpretative, argumentative and prepositive competences, all this through the game. The role of the teacher will be to guide the students to the good use of the platform.
