Resumen
This practice highlights the impact that a process of prevention and promotion of psychoactive substances can have on the perception and knowledge of such substances in forty students in grades 8 and 9 of an educational institution of the municipality of Candelaria Valle. To account for this he attended a pre experimental (pre and post test) design. At first a questionnaire that would diagnose the perception and knowledge that were on psychoactive substances (pretest) was applied , then a process of information and educational intervention was conducted. Once completed the intervention process a second measurement that would determine whether changes from intervention occurred was performed. In order to establish whether there were significant differences between pre and post test statistical t test was attended stundet uncorrelated measurement. The null hypothesis was established based on the mean difference, which is equal to zero. The working hypothesis would indicate that there are significant differences between pre and post test indicating that the intervention had an effect in changing perceptions and knowledge about psychoactive substances. Calculating t with bilateral contrast, α = 0.05, gL= 39 one t 0 -15.32 was obtained. This value is lower than -1.96 being found in table t stundent and pre null hypothesis x = x post states and working hypothesis (x ≠ x pre post) is accepted. According to the above, it was concluded that the process to intervention had effects that changed the perception and knowledge of drugs from the group of participating students.
