The business sector is now increasingly competitive, to this reality is added the high demands of users who have more offers, are active in deciding what service to take and this they do based on the motivations they have and the level of satisfaction that the service produces, which implies that entrepreneurs know these interests well so that they can be satisfied (Port, 2017), as is the case of tourism, because people have various motivations when traveling within the that there is some culture related to gastronomy, music, art, architecture, museums, ecology, so it is a need that must be met. The cultural industry then becomes a cluster of tourist attractions for the population that is possible to potentiate through the creation of strategic alliances (Muñoz, 2015). The tourism sector is where these places are promoted nationally and internationally, generating a union of efforts to achieve objectives and interests that are shared to achieve competitiveness, productivity, innovation, progress, sustainability and economic benefits at a particular level and for society. In general, due to foreign investment and the generation of employment. Based on the above, there is an interest in identifying the impact of the tourism sector on cultural industries through an initial description of the current situation of the tourism sector in Colombia; to later detail the situation of the cultural industries in Colombia and finally establish the relationship between the tourism sector and the cultural industries. The methodology applied is qualitative and the key research instrument is the review of literature from reliable sources.
