The purpose of this work is to update the manual of functions for labor competencies including the guidelines established in resolution 0312 of 2019, for the company METALPAR SAS of the city of Neiva in such a way that allows employees to be educated about their responsibilities in front of the minimum standards of obligatory fulfillment of the system of management of the security and health in the work. For its later development, a diagnosis was made, performing an analysis of the manuals of current functions with the purpose of verifying its last update date, general and specific components of the position. In addition, data collection instruments were designed. With the information obtained, a substantial improvement was made in the organization chart, the manual of functions and procedures was updated. Likewise, a survey was designed and developed as a performance evaluation tool to be applied periodically in the organization. Finally, the respective suggestions were made, taking into account the results obtained in each of the phases of the work.
