Resumen
Over time, different techniques have been sought to facilitate the management of both dairy and meat herds as well as double purpose, from the implementation of different reproductive biotechnologies such as artificial insemination to fixed time transfer of embryos. has managed to select and better genetically, and increasing the number of offspring per year of the same animal, thus increasing the level of productivity and the genetic level; the techniques of embryo transfer through freezing methods or also in fresh. The objective of this work is to review and evaluate based on the information obtained from articles and research work from different countries, not only Colombia, by reviewing the data obtained by using the different synchronization protocols for fixed-time embryo transfer (TETF) as they use Prostaglandin F2a, Gonadotropin releasing hormone (GnRH), Progesterone release devices as well as progesterone implants, and eCG. In order to compare and evaluate each one. Being one of the advantages of biotechnologies that can be developed in research centers or on the farm where the recipients are located.
