Resumen
The following is an intervention project aimed at the prevention of psychoactive substance [PAS] use in Cali adolescents entering higher education. To prevent the use of psychoactive substances in adolescents, we designed a psychoeducational program aimed at developing life skills and generating evidence based risk perception related to the use of PAS. We qualify and train adolescents in cognitive, emotional and social skills. Also, we will provide updated and impartial information about the consequences of using the various PAS present in the city of Cali. Will promote these skills and knowledge because they are protective factors against the PAS use. In order to measure the impact of our prevention program evaluations will apply to the skills and the risk perception before and after the intervention. The results we hope to achieve with our proposal are: to increase the adolescents life skills to enable them to successfully face the challenges of their lives; and create an evidence based risk perception of PAS consumption in adolescents. These achievements allow, in the short and medium term, reduce substance use in Cali adolescents.
