(Universidad Cooperativa de Colombia, Facultad de Ciencias Económicas, Administrativas y Contables, Comercio Internacional, Santa Marta, 2023-02-08) Cháves Gutiérrez, Naireth Tatiana; Duran Pedroza, Valentina; Fuentes Mendoza, Rafael Felipe; Alberto
The proposed research had the goal of analyzing the problems of export management from Colombia to the world in the cases of three MSMEs from the city of Barranquilla, in such a way that the factors related to the commercial, logistic and customs processes of the countries can be identified. products that they manufacture that have some incidence in this regard. To this end, a study with a qualitative approach was designed that had two components: the analysis of the literature and the application of interviews among personnel of three MSMEs from Barranquilla. The results made it possible to identify that companies face exogenous challenges such as insufficient public policies for exports, high costs for international logistics operations, little visibility of production outside the hydrocarbon sector and infrastructure with shortcomings. Endogenous challenges include the lack of willingness to join unions with a view to internationalization, little export interest, financial and technological weaknesses and, mainly, the production of goods that are not very competitive internationally. These results show the need to structure much more efficient production processes that respond to the issues involved, for which there must be joint collaboration between the State and MSMEs, the latter being ultimately responsible for their growth.

    Artículo seminario internacional Colombia-Perú
(Universidad Cooperativa de Colombia, Facultad de Ciencias Económicas, Administrativas y Contables, Comercio Internacional, Bogotá, 2022) Lara Escobar , Lesly Sulay; Sabogal Abril , Jorge Jair; Rojas Gallego , Johan Esteban; Reyes Claros, Edgar
The objective of this paper is to identify how SMEs in Colombia and Peru have been built and how they have been affected by globalization, the economic problems they have faced and the possible causes. During the seminar, we were able to see in first instance, how mass production companies are developed in Peru and the similarities they have in relation to our country. As an example, we can compare the Peruvian company Gloria, a dairy company, and Alpina, talking about our country. On the other hand, we found that, in the visits to Peruvian universities, compared to our universities, young people are committed to create micro-enterprises that offer added value and exclusive products, made available to customers achieved through their efforts. We especially see that one of the possible causes that lead them to challenging results in their companies is due to the competition generated by globalization and high demand.

(Universidad Cooperativa de Colombia, Facultad de Ciencias Económicas y Administrativas, Comercio Internacional, Bogotá, 2023-02-06) Castañeda Páez, Nicolle Stefanni; Heredia , Claudia
The purpose of the exchange regime is to promote economic and social development and exchange balance, in order to foster the internationalization of the Colombian economy, promote, foster and stimulate foreign trade of goods and services, facilitate the development of current transactions with foreign countries, stimulate the investment of foreign capital in the country, apply adequate controls to capital movements, seek an adequate level of international reserves and coordinate exchange policies and regulations with macroeconomic policies. One of the objectives of the exchange regime is to stimulate foreign trade of goods and services, a fundamental activity in international trade, since it is necessary to know how international operations are developed in each stage, including in this activity the channeling and legalization of the currency received as a result of the correct performance of the activities in which international business is carried out, in light of the exchange regime in accordance with the country's monetary policy. Instructing the user in matters of foreign exchange obligations - whether a natural or legal person - is essential for the correct control exercised by the National Tax and Customs Directorate, which in accordance with the provisions of paragraphs 4 and 5 of article 3 of Decree 4048 of 2008 has been granted to this entity to direct, manage, control and monitor compliance with tax, customs and exchange obligations for import and export of goods and services, among other activities, as well as to monitor the operations derived from the exchange regime that are not within the competence of another entity.

The purpose of this work is the articulation of the economic sectors through a historical journey that allows us to analyze their behavior within the Colombian economy in the last two decades. It began from the economic opening of 1991, an event that brought great changes in Colombian international trade and that in some way favored the country's economic growth. Additionally, economic concepts are related to the dynamics of trade both nationally and internationally and it is analyzed how the sectors of the economy have faced the changes brought about by the internalization of markets. The book is divided into three chapters. The first deals with the primary sector, the second the secondary sector and the third the tertiary sector. A detailed description of each sector is made, its evolution, the key factors that drive or slow it down and its participation in international trade. The work ends with a series of conclusions that allow the reader a more holistic view of the behavior of each sector, going through its history and behavior, not only within the national economy, but also within the international sphere.
