- ÍtemDiseño de un pavimento rígido por el método AASHTO 93 y Portland Cement Association (PCA), aplicado en la calle 6 entre carrera 8 y 7 del municipio de San Luis Tolima(Universidad Cooperativa de Colombia, Pregrado, Ingeniería Civil, Ibagué, 2023-03-16) Castro Herrera, Jeferson Julian; Muñoz Mendez, Fabio Alexander (disciplinar); Hernandez Atencia, Yelena (metodológico)The purpose of this document is to design a rigid pavement that provides a solution to the specific needs that arise in the study site, for which it is proposed to carry out the designs using two different rigid pavement design methods, which are the AASTHO 93 method and the Portland Cement Association (PCA) method applied to an urban road in the municipality of San Luis (Tolima), where the description and subsequent comparison of each element is explained, as well as the design of the pavement is gradually developed and in the same way the required elements for each method and the description of the relevant computer programs in each case where after making the calculations with the different AASHTO 93 and PCA pavement design methods, a comparison of results is made to conclude which is the best.

Finally, based on the AASHTO-93 standard for asphalt pavement designs, the design of Full Depth pavements and with emulsified bases is carried out, proposing for such purpose a particular specification of a mixture with emulsified asphalt type II, where a mixture of 22.5 cm in size will be used.

- ÍtemDiseño estructural pavimento flexible, tramo 1 vía las Cabras - ubicado en Doima municipio de Piedras Tolima(Universidad Cooperativa de Colombia, Facultad de Ingenierías, Especialización en Diseño y Construcción de Pavimentos, Ibagué, 2020-11-17) Sanchez Campuzano, Victor Hugo; Meneses Barragán, Jair Alirio; Pulecio, Julian Andres; Hernández Atencia, YelenaThe study was carried out on the Las Cabras road located between the rural sector of agrotourism development condition, which communicates the urban sector of the Doima residential area of the Piedras Tolima municipality, where the collection of information necessary for its purpose corresponds to the period of December of 2019 and the first quarter of 2020, with the aim of gathering the suitable technical supports to carry out the study, design and construction of the pavement of the aforementioned road sector. Soil samples were taken to be analyzed in the laboratory, where a result of the soil support relationship was obtained, together with the geometric design of the road through topographic design and the study of traffic or road gauging; the road improvement action has been communicated by the Piedras Tolima municipal administration through its website and in community socialization meetings, where there is excellent acceptance by the community in general, unlike private land owners who They must free up minimum areas for the recovery of public space. Secondary information such as coordinated tasks in the territorial ordering scheme, resolution of road regulations, forest inventory, declaration of land areas as public utility, were provided by the municipal planning secretary in its administration 2016 - 2019, regarding the method of design and regulatory generalities, books of pavement design and INVIAS regulations were taken into account. The results showed a type III road category, a soil support ratio CBR = 5.5, where following the AASHTO methodology the pavement structure must be re-evaluated by the Rational method and the WINDEPAV software as it does not meet the minimum layer height thicknesses. set forth in the INVIAS standard.
