- ÍtemCalidad de vida en pacientes con hemodiálisis(Universidad Cooperativa de Colombia, Facultad de Ciencias de la Salud, Enfermería, Villavicencio, 2023-08-14) Aragón Pardo, Natalia; Benavides Angel, Johan Sebastián; Diaz Marin, Jhoan Camilo; Martinez Urquijo, María Fernanda; Moreno Baquero, Danna Camila; Vega Buendia , Laura Daniela; Suarez Ramirez Ana Cristina; Jimenez Castellanos CarolinaPeople suffering from chronic diseases (CD) present physical, personal, family and social affectations, affecting daily activities, self-care and self-image, severely impacting the quality of life of the person facing this disease, generating dependence and even more in hemodialysis treatment, which requires care and conditioning of new routines, Consequently, people suffer emotional conflict associated in turn with uncertainty in predicting the prognosis and difficulty in adapting to the disease, thus highlighting the importance of nursing involvement as a means of providing care, companionship and psychological and emotional support during the time of hemodialysis. For this reason, it is proposed to describe the quality of life of the patient with Chronic Renal Insufficiency (CKD) in the process of hemodialysis treatment in the city of Villavicencio, through the development of a quantitative study of descriptive cross-sectional type, it is expected to identify the degree of commitment on the perception of well-being and quality of life of patients and thus, facilitate the understanding of their care situation.
- ÍtemIncidencia de cardiopatías congénitas en una institución de prestadora de salud de Villavicencio en el primer trimestre del 2022(Universidad Cooperativa de Colombia, Facultad de Ciencias de la Salud, Enfermería, Villavicencio, 0023-08-30) Rodríguez Poveda, Jhon Alfred; Cruz Triana , Yudi Carolina; Vallejo Cruz, Kevin José; Mendieta, Carlos Andrés; Suarez Ramírez, Ana cristinaAn estimated 15 million newborns worldwide die each year from heart disease, which appears to be often treatable or preventable in both low- and middle-income countries; In the same way, the scientific community works on interventions that reduce mortality in newborns and early childhood, where the priority has been focused on reducing communicable infectious diseases. (1) According to the World Health Organization in 2019, today there have been advances in high-precision diagnostic methods, and in surgical and therapeutic treatments, generating a diversity of alternatives that lead to the restoration of the health of the pediatric patient. .Congenital defects represent the main causes of mortality in the neonatal stage and early childhood, it is notable that the survivors were left with significant disabilities for life. It is estimated that 3% of live births are experiencing congenital heart disease, which, when treated promptly, prevents complications. The results published in books and academic health journals describe a global increase in the prevalence of heart disease at birth, concentrating its occurrence in the poorest countries. (2)On the other hand, in other studies carried out in the neonatal stage and early childhood, a variability in the prevalence of these diseases has been evidenced, which may be around 0.5 to 10 per-1,000 live births in the year 2020 (3). Existing figures for infant mortality due to congenital defects indicate that the probability that a newborn will die before reaching the age of five in Colombia due to congenital heart disease is 20 per-1,000 live births.Congenital heart disease generates a high mortality rate, also within the first stage of life, the high mortality it causes in people around the world is remarkable. (4) To this is added that congenital heart disease constitutes the group of pathologies of high diagnostic and management complexity in the country. In 2018, according to data recorded in the Health Situation Analysis -ASIS at the national level, a neonatal mortality rate due to congenital heart disease is recorded at 8.8 and 9.5 prevalent per-1,000 live births. (5). On the other hand, a similar prevalence originates in countries with economic problems, which causes problems of access to tools to provide timely care, development and assistance during the neonatal period and early childhood, which causes an increase in the mortality rate due to lack of care. - ÍtemMedir la intensidad del dolor y su repercusión en las actividades de la vida cotidiana en auxiliares de Enfermería en una Institución Prestadora de Servicios de salud(Universidad Cooperativa de Colombia, Facultad de Ciencias de la Salud, Enfermería, Villavicencio, 2023-08-16) Jimaido Pérez, Andrea Milena; Sáenz Barbosa, Sol Angie; Taborda Ramírez, Blanca Yineth; Chamarravi Galvis , Lina Mayerli; González Beltrán, Marly Yuliana; Suarez Ramírez, Ana Cristina; Cagua Ardila, Yaddy AlexandraLow back pain is a musculoskeletal disorder that causes discomfort and difficulty in daily work; its symptom resolution is spontaneous and doesn't require medical intervention, with only 1% of the affected individuals developing chronic pain, which is a leading cause of occupational disability worldwide. The study aims to measure the intensity of pain and its impact on daily life activities among Nursing Assistants in a Healthcare Provider Institution (HPI) in the city of Villavicencio, Colombia. It quantitatively describes the work conditions, discomforts, and work environment during September and October, thereby identifying the presence of low back pain when performing activities that are part of their daily duties. This will be achieved through the application of the Oswestry Disability Index, a scale that assesses pain-related limitations in carrying out routine activities. The results of this study are expected to provide insights into the intensity of low back pain experienced by nursing assistants.

- ÍtemIntervenciones de enfermería en el puerperio para la prevención de complicaciones(Universidad Cooperativa de Colombia, Facultad de Ciencias de la Salud, Enfermería, Bucaramanga, 2023-07-17) Pinzón Camacho, Laura Viviana; Gamboa Gamboa , Angie Marcela; Pineda Ardila , Tania Julieth; Pitta Palacio , Jeysa Natalia; Laguado Jaimes ElvenyIntroduction Pregnancy is one of the characteristic states of the woman and her family, not only for the psychophysiological changes, but also for the care practices that occur during the pre- and post-natal period, such changes occur gradually and at the end of pregnancy will eventually be reversed (Carrillo, 2021). In the puerperium, the mother faces multiple factors that affect the assumption of the maternal role and complications, these can be prevented with adequate and early care by nursing staff, in the puerperium where the health status of the mother and the newborn must be verified, can be considered as a period in which a woman is vulnerable and needs external support (Bohórquez, 2009). This study aims to determine nursing interventions in the postpartum period according to the scientific evidence that contributes to the prevention and management of complications. Methodology: Narrative review, the search was carried out in the databases: Proquest, Redalyc, Dialnet, Sciencedirect, BVS, Scopus, Springer, Scielo and academic google. With keywords such as puerperium, classification of nursing interventions, early intervention education, prevention and health promotion; combining words for the search of articles allowing selection by inclusion and exclusion criteria, articles that meet the objectives Results After the purification of information and application of the established criteria, 52 articles were obtained, in which nonexperimental articles predominate with 21% and with greater validity 13.4% of 2022. Among the interventions identified with effectiveness, one of the most outstanding is the satisfaction of the users for the care and attention provided, the empowerment of the mother in terms of breastfeeding and knowledge of the management of prenatal postpartum depression, perinatal care, and perceived skills to assess the mental health status of women during and after pregnancy, finally the importance of nursing when involved in providing emotional support to women and their families is evidenced (Souza, 2021). The aforementioned is related to the knowledge that the nurse must have for these interventions and the education that is carried out in the process of pregnancy and puerperio which, holistically, cover the mother-child binomial. As part of the programs for the prevention and management of complications in the puerperium by nurses, the empowerment of the post-natal care is highlighted; The studies recommend spaces for the exchange of experiences with women and more human talent for follow-up (Namutebi, 2022). Conclusions The most frequent interventions performed by the nurse to reduce complications in the postpartum period are educational, with greater effectiveness because they allow the early detection of complications and possible risks, As for the follow-up programs, there is the face-to-face and distance (calls, emails, etc.), emphasis on the holistic well-being of the mother and child binomial.
