In this practice, corrective and preventive actions were taken in the technological management of the information systems of the National Registry of Civil Status at the departmental level. Technical support was provided in the management of computer hardware and software to each of the municipal registries of the department. In the same way, the database system was managed in response to any requirement of the administrative staff. Support was also given to the entire electoral process led by the entity in 2018 throughout the country.

This work refers to the support for the preparation and updating of documentation for the recertification of the ISO / IEC 20000-2: 2011 STANDARD of the NUEVASTIC company through the development of activities that will be carried out such as: the initial diagnosis of the company, the development of operational process diagrams, the creation and updating of documents for the improvement of the process and contingency plans for the processes of the company named above. For this reason, this work begins, which consists of the update of the manual of functions for the company FREEZ INGENIERIAS SAS, for whose structure requires their efficiency, effectiveness and functionality in each of the areas taking into account and defining the profiles for each of the charges. The present work is done as a requirement of business practice in the Industrial Engineering career, proposes to adapt the manual of functions for the company FREEZ INGENIERIAS SAS, which facilitates to know the internal operation in terms of description of tasks, location, requirements and to the jobs responsible for its execution, hoping that it will contribute to the general decision-making work of the same and that it will be used as a basis for the work of auditing, evaluation of human resources, and the evolution of charges to Inside the company, as well as increasing the efficiency of the employees, telling them what they should do and how they should do it, aligned with the vision and mission set by the organization. For its later development, a diagnosis was made, performing an analysis of the manuals of current functions with the purpose of verifying its last update date, general and specific components of the position. In addition, data collection instruments were designed. With the information obtained, a substantial improvement was made in the organization chart, the manual of functions and procedures was updated. Likewise, a survey was designed and developed as a performance evaluation tool to be applied periodically in the organization. Finally, the respective suggestions were made, taking into account the results obtained in each of the phases of the work.
