The present systematic review of literature whose corresponding title is "Adoption of the Industry 4.0 Approach: A Look at SMEs" aims to explore the adoption methodologies of the 4.0 approach for SMEs in developed and emerging countries. For this, a search was carried out in databases such as Scopus, MDPI, Google Scholar, ScienceDirect, among others; which facilitated access to scientific articles that added value to the work with updated and consistent information on the state of the art against industry 4.0 and the methodologies that have been proposed in the different countries under study, the public policies that support the process of implementation, followed by analysis through the VOSviewer software with information from the Scopus database, which yielded the technologies on which it has been published from 2020 to 2022 and the correlation between the different authors who have made said publications

An evaluation of final disposal alternatives for municipal solid waste through life cycle assessment: A case of study in Colombia

Landfilling is still the most common technology used in developing countries for the final disposal of municipal solid waste (MSW), albeit the negative impacts on the environment such as those caused by the release of greenhouse gases (GHG) that contribute to global warming (GW). The Colombian government set a target of 20% reduction in GHG emissions by year 2030, for which the solid waste management sector has an important role to play. Also, the achievement of the targets of sustainable development goals (SDG) is playing a key role for the government agenda and will do so for the next years. In this context, there is an important room for improvement of the management alternatives in currently operative landfills in the country, especially in terms of measures to reduce fugitive air emissions and leachates. This paper evaluates, using life cycle assessment (LCA) methods, the environmental impacts associated with a landfill in Colombia under four different scenarios: open dumps (zero) and conventional landfill under three landfill gas (LFG) management alternatives: venting (a), flaring (b), and energy recovery (c). The impact categories as well as the life cycle impact assessment (LCIA) methods used were determined through the review of LCA studies for MSW management systems in developing countries. Main results show that global warming potential (GWP) was the main environmental impact caused by the landfill operation under the conditions considered; however, GWP was significantly reduced with the shifting from management scenarios with no LFG treatment (o and a: common to most landfills in developing countries) to scenarios where LFG is either flare (b) or utilized for energy production (c). These results suggest that adoption of technologies for LFG capture, burn, and energy recovery must be considered if important reductions of GHGs are expected from the waste management sector, as well as to provide economic incentives to improve the operational sustainability of landfills in developing countries.
An experimental study on the impact of two dimensional materials in waste disposal sites: What are the implications for engineered landﬁlls?

It is generally accepted that landﬁlled municipal solid waste develops a heterogeneous and anisotropic structure during placement, degradation and settlement. Flow and transport processes, in traditional and alternative landﬁlls, are strongly inﬂuenced by the type of structure developed. The presence of pref- erential ﬂow has gained research interest, given its impact on landﬁll processes. This paper describes an experimental investigation carried out on a specimen of degraded municipal solid waste. Preferential ﬂow was detected and caused by the specimen layered structure composed of two dimensional particles derived from less easily degradable materials such as plastics, textiles and paper which made up more than 50% of the specimen dry mass. The results suggest that two dimensional particles play a role in promoting preferential ﬂow because they modify ﬂow paths and increase the tortuosity. A high content of less easily degradable two dimensional materials suggests incompatibility with better management practices, seeking a more even distribution of ﬂuids to enhance degradation and faster stabilisation rates within engineered landﬁlls. Consequently, there is a need to re-think the types and quantities of materials that are restricted under current landﬁll policies.

Teacher evaluation is an important aspect within the quality of Higher Education Institutions, there is a process model based on the areas of responsibility for planning, building, executing and monitoring and is supported by an IT governance model (COBIT 5) , but currently there is a new version (COBIT 2019) and it is then necessary to analyze the new processes within the Faculty of Engineering of the Cooperative University of Colombia, reorienting the strategic objectives set each semester. Although it is true that teacher evaluation is part of the factors evaluated by the National Accreditation Council (CNA), the Cali campus finds that there are different evaluation systems provided by the University to evaluate its teachers, these in turn are found working independently, in this sense, the campus has defined established performance criteria that allow it to glimpse through an evaluative action the fulfillment of the professor during the academic semester, for this the evaluations made by the students are taken into account and the self-evaluation carried out by each professor (both processes carried out in the OPS platform) and crosses this information with an evaluation that the dean or program coordinator performs, taking into account different evaluation criteria and strategic activities of the faculty.

The study of kinematics allows us to describe and know the different types of movements, among which we can mention: Movements with constant speed, constant acceleration or variable acceleration. At the moment we are not interested in knowing the causes that produce them, it will be a matter of dynamics. In this practice we will describe the movement that a glider performs on an air rail attached by a rope to a mass suspended from a pulley, which describes a movement with constant acceleration. With the Cassy software and sensors, it will be possible to build the graphs of position vs. time, velocity vs. time and acceleration vs. time, for an object that moves in rectilinear motion. After making measurements of velocity vs. time and position vs. time, the student must identify the type of movement from the graphs and calculate the acceleration of the glider.

The third, Help message, relief or emergency, is responsible for sending a message to a trusted contact, with the user information and its location, informing that the user is in a situation of immediate emergency.

Este artículo presenta la arquitectura de un Asistente virtual que ofrece funciones de apoyo al usuario en el proceso de producción de textos para la enseñanza y el aprendizaje de idiomas. Se definen dos funciones específicas para el comportamiento del asistente: la asistencia de escritura y la asistencia gramatical. En la asistencia de escritura se le presenta al estudiante recomendaciones de acuerdo al tipo de párrafo que desea escribir, y en la asistencia gramatical se le brinda al estudiante la corrección ortográfica y sintáctica de oraciones de los párrafos o textos que produce. El asistente integra características de agentes de software, ambientes virtuales de aprendizaje y elementos de la lingüística computacional que permiten realizar el procesamiento del lenguaje y dar recomendaciones a los estudiantes sobre su proceso de escritura. El principal propósito de este asistente es ayudar a los estudiantes a mejorar sus habilidades de escritura cuando interactúen en un entorno de aprendizaje virtual. La arquitectura propuesta se ha implementado en la plataforma denominada Lingweb, prototipo de un Sistema de Gestión de Cursos para la enseñanza y aprendizaje de idiomas.
