This article is written from a systematic review that seeks to understand what psychological and emotional well-being is in children of reconstituted families. First, each of the aspects that refer to family conformation is described; Secondly, it tells how the conjugal rupture occurs and how the process of reconstituting the new family typology is, in addition to the positive and negative consequences generated in the children who become part of the new system. It is a review and analysis of the information of fragmented family ties and the affectations of the affective and psychological relationship of the members of the reconstituted families. The results supported by this literature are based on previous research of bibliography obtained from the database, which has been analyzed and exposed in an organized manner, which has allowed to provide input on the process of concil conciliation between parents during and after divorce, being fundamental to provide adequate development, adaptive behaviors, mental health, psychological and emotional well-being of children in reconstituted families.
