In the studies on displacement, uprooting and reconstruction, issues such as the rupture of the social fabric and the loss or transformation of identities have had a growing academic and political interest. In effect, displacement constitutes, beyond material losses and violated rights, a set of interactions and subjective processes of "negotiation" and, sometimes, of "negation" of social identities, as happens with displaced Afro-descendants. In the investigation through the reflexive critical action method with the use of the SARAR technique, with which was determined the need to potentiate through communication, leadership, empowerment, self-esteem and teamwork in a group of 17 young people of African descent displaced in ages between 15 and 23 years old relocated in the Caracolí neighborhood of Ciudad Bolívar. They established the way they perceive and interpret their new place of life, their problems, how the ties of solidarity, cooperation, identity between this community are reconstructed, as well as the precarious help of public and private institutions and organizations. It supported the strengthening of the social support network as alternatives that from the voices of this community, tend to assume their past to reestablish, a present that they must necessarily transform and a future with responsibility, rights and dignity, as indicated by the experiences confronted in the different activities. Thirteen sessions were conducted that led to the diagnosis and empowerment of leadership, empowerment, self-esteem and teamwork, ending with the evaluation of the strengthening of the social support network with the participation of the community, research that led this population to look for new alternatives of solution to their problems, to transform their reality, creating their organization of displaced people to obtain resources from the State and non-governmental entities, as established by the Law, to generate their own work and therefore their income for their survival, starting with training of your community in new productive tasks
