The city of santa marta in recent years has suffered a scarcity of drinking water and is due to the fact that most of the city does not have an aqueduct that meets the needs of citizens. The practice of exploiting aquifers for consumption in samarian homes has been practiced for years, which they do without having repercussions on the chemical status of the liquid they draw from these wells. Students of environmental engineering of the university Cun of santa marta initiated an investigation for the study of the chemical state of the liquid that they exploit of the aquifers in santa marta which they realized visiting the grounds and with analogous devices they took the measures of PH, and other variables important to know if water can be consumed by humans. For this, this project was designed which is a prototype for the measurement of PH, Temperature and Relative Humidity in a shelf that proves that it incites other people in the field of research to develop a large-scale project to solve the problem. in Santa Marta.
