Resumen
InversionesEstilos D´ Moda will be a company that will be dedicated to manufacture and export of pajamas for adults in Canadian market, unlike other manufacturers the way of production will be through tailoring workshops for cutting and confection, mainly integrated by mothers who are heads of families which will allow the company to have the capacity to cover market demand. This model allows to start in fashion market without need to invest in machinery and equipment as well as to lower fixed production cost, getting not only higher profits but to cover the demand of potential customers without the need to do a reinvestment of capital. The advantages are not only for the company, this model will benefit hired tailoring workshops that currently only focuses to national market. As it is a product that is entirely aimed at foreign market, initially the Canadian one, moreattention will be paid to the final touch of the product, guaranteeing the expected quality by final consumer. What will allow to consolidate the brand over time. The location of the company must be placed around the tailoring workshops to be in constant contact with them and reduce local transport costs and transfer times of raw materials. The introduction to the target market will be done competing mainly with the quality and design of the pajamas, the price will go into the background based on the purchase preference of Canadians who are more inclined to quality and comfort before than the value of the commodity. The Colombian fashion sector is one of the sectors with greater antiquity in the country and in some regions is one of the main generators of employment. Over time, it has had to face periods of abundance and shortage, the government has had to take protectionist measures and on other occasions, opening measures, especially when free trade agreements have been signed with other countries. Although the Colombian industry does not have high technologies that producers in other countries does have, the quality of the products offered by Colombia in the foreign market is optimal, even though it costs more to the national producer, the manufacturing of the same garment than a producer abroad. The Canadian market is one of the most desired by the fashion sector thanks to its cultural diversity and purchasing power of the population, to have different weather seasons becomes a determining factor for the demand of different models of clothing throughout the year, the companies interested in offering their products in this market must have a broad portfolio in order to have a constant demand. The main competitors are the Asian countries, who compete with the quantity and price, leaving the quality in a second plane, although they also manufacture very high-quality garments, their business is focused on manufacturing in quantity. Both Canadian businessmen and consumers know very little about the Colombian fashion sector, do not easily know their designs and quality because they do not have a benchmark or brand that references it, however, this is not so bad since the market is minded to meet new suppliers. The company will have the MAYYA brand and will be focused on positioning itself in the market, highlighting the fashion sector with the design and quality with which Colombian garments are characterized, supported by an excellent supply chain allowing deliveries at agreed times without cost overruns. When performing the analysis of the production process you can find the different stages through which a garment passes in this case the pajamas for manufacturing, in this project in particular you must have highly qualified suppliers in both national raw materials and suppliers of labor, is why the proposedmodel in the project is essential to have tailoring workshops because the people who work in these workshops have the required experience. The model proposed in the project when delegating labor in manufacturing to tailoring workshops becomes a determining factor when analyzing financial viability, since the fixed costs in manufacturing are reduced and converted into variable costs according to the quantity manufactured, additionally in seasons of high demand for the product, it will not be necessary to adapt new jobs directly to the company, since the installed capacity will depend directly on the number of tailoring workshops hired.
