The main purpose of the research proposal was to analyze the effect of technological tools in the classroom for the strengthening of computer skills in Transition children at the Kindergarten "Mis Huellitas" Educational Institution, located in the city of Barrancabermeja. From the theoretical point of view, it was based on the postulates of the National Directorate of Curriculum and Educational Technology (Meduca, 2012), complemented by pedagogical theories proposed by Piaget (Regader, Psicologia educativa y del desarrollo, 2016) and Lev Vygotsky (Regader, Psicología educativa y del desarrollo, 2016), among others. As for methodological analysis, the work is considered descriptive, with a quasi-experimental design and field observation. The study population consisted of 40 children, students of the transition grade, who were organized into two groups (20 students each) for the purposes of comparative analysis, so that the control group and the experimental group were had. Data were collected using an observation list data collection instrument with a response scale. With regard to the results, it is important to note that there is a low level of development of computer skills at the time of the start of the project, under these conditions a 20-hour plan was applied using the digital board; from the implementation of the plan the impact of the tool on the development of computer skills in students was evaluated.
