Resumen
The Autistic spectrum has been defined as that disorder that significantly affects different areas of adjustment in the life of the infant such as neurodevelopment and cognitive aspects where in turn it is not only the minor that is influenced, but also the main networks of support begin to be involved. (Cabanyes & García, 2004). It is with this that this problem begins to be evident when parents show alterations in the development of their children, expressing concern with it, being necessary the accompaniment of an interdisciplinary team to deal with this disorder. (Cabanyes & García, 2004). Thus, the fundamental purpose of delving into this topic, aims to establish a description between the autism spectrum disorder and the contrast that arises in the attentional model developed by Mirsky, since in this type of disorders an impoverishment of the higher mental processes is reported and mainly attention, in development according to their age, not facilitating growth which involves the delay of evolutionary progress related to neurodevelopment, cognitive skills and behavioral impairment. (Grañana, 2009). For this type of disorder, consequences arise mainly related to the deficit in the stimulus approach and it is there that the processing of the three Mirsky care subsystems is involved and taken to work in this investigation since the extraction and processing of The information received from the environment in this population is evidenced by different difficulties or shortcomings slowing the quality of life of those who suffer from it. (Grañana, 2009). And it is there, where it is vital to handle this issue with the main participants to publicize the feasibility of facilitating the child's adaptation to the environment, through cognitive reinforcement that provide the establishment of autonomy, lifestyles and learning with activities that involve the change of routines and socialization with peers that in the medium term, promoting this internalization of reality. (Milláa & Mulas, 2008). Therefore, the contribution of the psychological discipline is essential when executing and implementing a cognitive re-education with parents of infants or autistic patients who are performing a specialized accompaniment at the Howard Gardner Rehabilitation clinic.
