Resumen
Colombia has gone through several conflicts that have prevented materializing the principle - the value of peace. The national government initiated a process of abandonment of arms with the FARC - EP in 2012 with the aim of ending the internal armed conflict of the country; said process was called "Dialogues of peace". Transitional justice was the tool that was used for this proposal to end the conflict. Being understood as "the mechanisms that seek to guarantee a balance between the victims' rights to truth, justice and reparation, with those measures that have the objective of making possible the end of the armed conflict and the transition towards a lasting peace and sustainable "(León, 2013). In Colombia this mechanism had already been used on previous occasions, as in the war of the supreme, the civil war of 1860 - 1861, the war of 1876-1877, the battle of La Humareda, the war of the Thousand Days (1899- 1902) (Zambrano, 2010) and more recently the reinsertion of paramilitary groups a decade ago.
