Resumen
There are different roles and fields in which the psychologist can perform their work, sometimes generating confusion regarding their work, therefore, in this document we intend to identify what is the possible role of the psychosocial psychologist in front of the victims of the armed conflict. Bearing in mind that the armed conflict has been in Colombia for more than five decades and that it has left a large number of victims with physical, psychological and social problems, thus affecting the reconstruction of its social structure and identity, so we are going to delve into the different topics such as: victim, armed conflict, post-conflict, mental health, among others, we also mention the different laws (law 1448 of 2011, law 975 of 2005) that contribute to the process of reparation to the victim, that is, they determine the benefits and attention that they require. In this order of ideas we suggest to the psychology professional of the psychosocial area to delve into the specificities and specific factors of the Colombian context in the post-conflict, in order to contribute to the reconstruction of a social fabric.
