Resumen
Juvenile sex offenders are a group of adolescents who are exposed to risk factors that may have an impact on their behavior. Therefore, we analyzed the research carried out in Colombia and Spain in the last 10 years about the risk factors that lead to sexual aggressions. The inquiry was conducted from a descriptive qualitative methodology, through a literary review of the risk factors that predispose sexual aggression in adolescents. According to this, 31 documents on juvenile sex offenders were found, which, 9 publications focused on risk factors; the results are evidenced, through 5 categories such as: biological or genetic factors, family, sexual, social and personality, each one is composed of elements that describe what, according to the authors, may predispose the sexual assault behavior. It is concluded that there are few studies of sexual aggressions perpetrated by adolescents, for which reason, it is considered that this subject should be deepened, due to the increase that is presently present, in addition, with the creation of the categories that include elements of risk, it is understood, that a single factor does not predispose the appearance of sexual aggressions, but that young people are exposed to two or more factors, so that their behavior is compromised until they commit this crime. This investigation can serve as a source of consultation for the prevention of behavior that leads to the crime of sexual assault.
