Resumen
The purpose of this case study is to show the articulation of quality in the academic and administrative processes of the Higher Education Institutions (IES), the Higher School of Cauca University Institution (IUCMC) and the University Foundation of Popayán, being a public one and the other private, respectively, both IES are currently certified and have implemented a Quality Management System under ISO 9001: 2015 standards and are in the process of self-assessment for high-quality accreditation purposes taking into account the guidelines of the National Accreditation Council (CNA). Identify the existing articulation between the two systems, to know their integration, thus avoiding the duplication of efforts or in some cases incur reprocessing, that is to say that there are no two independent quality systems, administrative (ISO) and academic (CNA) management. After the articulation process times can be optimized, adding value to the educational service through continuous improvement, whose results will be reflected in the achievement of a competitive advantage that allows offering relevant, competitive and quality educational services.
