Background: Health service benefits are necessary, a right for society and a duty of the state, in which quality and optimal care must be maintained. Aim: To measure quality of health service in the departmental hospital of Villavicencio, using the method of the QFD matrix. Materials and methods: We surveyed 400 users who received the hospital service. The research is enrolled in a quantitative context since part of the use of a survey that scores from 1 to 5 to the different components of quality of hospital service. The method of analysis of the QFD matrix starts from the recognition of the relations between needs and the solution of the same ones. Results: The values reflected in the QFD matrix, shows the irregularity of the quality of health services, in the different aspects that were evaluated. Conclusion: It is evident that the provision of health services in the department of Meta has weaknesses reflected in the specialized care, structure, attention to users, continuous improvement, quality in professionals.
