Resumen
The informal economy is a problem that affects every day is increasing and affects the country and clearly its population, the solutions that the public entities in charge as they are the mayors have developed not fully meet the expectations of the main actors that represent this economy that are informal sellers, because they have offered different alternatives that in turn are accompanied by a strong "public space defense" and do not end with significant results in a real solution for this population. Therefore, the informal vendors of Barrio Restrepo are characterized with an emphasis on entrepreneurship and social innovation, through the combination of the traditional research methodology and the Desing Thinking, taking a small sample, to precisely look at the characterization a recommendation that allows filling the gaps of current policies. Additionally, an investigation is being carried out of the policies proposed by the main mayors' offices in which it is found that those who have tried to control this informal economy have proposed Master Plans that aim to preserve public space and not a solution for the population that is There is no evidence of a study by these institutions, which for the case of Bogotá is in charge of the Mayor's Office and the IPES, which seeks to get to know the historical and current context of the same informal vendor in order to find solutions there to try to minimize the impact of informality. Thus, it presents recommendations especially focused on entrepreneurship, taking into account the same characterization, perspective and social approach of the informal vendor, through the application of research instruments.
